Cancel a Running Projection
A Projection that is currently executing can be cancelled by pressing the ‘Cancel Projection’ button in the upper right corner of the Projection detail screen.
Any scenarios currently executing will be stopped. Results that have been calculated up to that point will still be stored in the results database. Any scenarios that have not yet started will be removed from the run queue and will not count towards run time usage.
Duplicate a Projection
Once a projection has finished running and is in any completed state, it is possible to duplicate the projection, which will create a new projection which contains all the same settings and inputs as the original projection. The Duplicate Projection button will appear in the top-right corner on the projection details screen.
This can also be used to reproduce test runs using changed versions of development code if the original results are still needed. Once a projection has been duplicated, the new projection is editable and users will have the opportunity to change anything on the projection needed before resubmitting for execution.
Re-Run a Completed Projection
After a projection has finished running and is in any completed state, it can be “re-run” via the ‘Re-Run’ button on the projection details. When this option is selected, the projection is re-validated and re-run, removing the previous results. This is effectively an overwrite of the existing data, and is useful for doing lots of development runs without creating a lot of projections in the results list.
Store Projection(s) within Virtual Folders
To facilitate the organization of model projections, users have the ability to store projections within virtual folders and subfolders, which are located to the left of the projection list on the Model Execution screen. To add a virtual folder, click the "+" to the right of the Virtual Folders heading. Subfolders can be added and removed within each folder. To add a single projection to a folder or subfolder, click on the projection name and drag it into the folder. To add one or more projections, click the box(es) to the left of the projection name(s) and drag into the desired folder. To remove projections from the virtual folders, click the box(es) next to the projection(s) in the virtual folders and click the "Delete Selected" button.
Note that projections that are stored within the virtual folders will continue to be displayed when All Projections or My Projections are selected from the dropdown menu at the top of the Projections page.
